GMI has developed a family knowledge graph to understand specific flavor profiles and meals that are most loved by each member. GMI also partners with meal kit providers (such as Home Chef) to incorporate GMI products into their meals. Additionally, GMI partners with general merchandise retailers (such as Amazon) to be able to build full experiences around moments.
Taylor's daughter, Olivia, is turning 7 tomorrow. Olivia's favorite meal is BBQ chicken with sweet corn and fries. Using her Home Chef subscription, Taylor orders the meal, which includes Cascadian Farms sweet corn, and sets the delivery time for tomorrow. She also opts for the "Fairy Tale Princess" Betty Crocker Cake kit from Amazon, which includes a Barbie to put in the cake. She is also able to get birthday decorations as part of her requested package from Prime Now. Everything will be delivered tomorrow by 3pm.
